The award winning second annual Great Dome Art Fair will showcase the full membership of the group- including some brand new members. It will give visitors a rare opportunity to meet all the artists, designers and food producers in person under one big amazing roof, in the shape of the famous historical Royal Devonshire Dome. Last years event won the Best Visual Arts Award, Buxton Fringe 2008. 'The Great Dome Art Fair- one of the treats of the last weekend of the fringe'- The Fringe Review, 2008.

Preview evening: Friday 24th July, 7 – 9pm

This year, the exclusive preview evening of The Great Dome Art Fair will include a recital by internationally acclaimed singer Julia Zhou. A programme of talks and practical demonstration by PDP members will be taking place throughout the weekend. 

Postcard Project Raffle and Free Prize Draw
All exhibitors will contribute an original postcard for display and raffle. Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase a raffle ticket that will give them a chance to win one of these original works. A percentage of the money raised will be donated to Blythe House Hospice, Buxton. In addition, visitors can also enter our free prize draw.

'Inspired by the Dome' Exhibition
On display will be a number of pieces of work exclusively produced by 8 selected members for the Dome exhibition. Each piece has been inspired by The Great Dome itself- come and enjoy each artists unique response in a variety of different materials to this extraordinary building.
