Exhibitions & Events featuring individual PDA members JANUARY 2012

 

A selection of PDA members have work included in an exhibition entitled ‘Winter in the Peaks’ at the Art Café, Pavilion Gardens, Buxton from 16th January – 5th March 2012.


Lettering artist Elizabeth Forrest has work included in the StArt Exhibition at the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists Gallery until 11 February. The StArt exhibition was developed as an opportunity for art enthusiasts with smaller budgets topurchase original art works. New PDA member Justine Nettleton has a solo exhibition at Buxton Museum & Art Gallery entitled ‘When Trees Dream, they Dream in Colour’. The exhibition features paintings inspired by the Aurora Light show at Rufford Abbey. Open from 21st January to 9th April 2012.

Haddon Hall Spring Showcase

Haddon Hall, Nr Bakewell, Derbyshire, 24th & 25th March 2012

38 members of the group will be taking part and the entrance fee of £1.00 for adults, entitles you to visit the showcase, the castle & grounds. There will be a special Preview evening with champagne and canapés on Friday 23rd March, from 6pm – 9pm, cost £15. Contact PDA if you’d like to attend or want more information.

Great Dome Art Fair

This is PDA’s annual extravaganza during the Buxton Festival, featuring all PDA group members. Great Peak District Fair

A fantastic autumn event of art, craft, food & drink where 25 members of PDA will take over the whole of the new Pavilion Arts Theatre to showcase members’ work. Free admission.
