Alison Counsell M.A.(RCA) has been working as a Metalsmith for 20 years. She exhibits nationally and internationally, undertakes private and public commissions, including the Victoria & Albert Museum, London. She recently won awards in ‘The Mathmos Candlelight’ and ‘Ashes to Art’ (Funeria, California) design competitions. Her current work uses leading edge photo etching techniques. Inspiration for her work is drawn from a variety of sources: maps, technical illustrations and the
structure of fabrics.
