I create a range of beautifully textured and delicate items for function and presentation within a contemporary living space. The work is defined by its recognizable torn edges and textured surfaces. I am inspired by nature, especially the underwater world. The colours and textures found beneath the oceans have always appealed to me and I incorporate them into my work. I find objects that have been eaten, sliced or pierced particularly fascinating as they allow light to create interesting patterns on surrounding surfaces.
