Jill Kerr is a printmaker whose work focuses on linocuts. She has won several awards, including the Friends’ Trophy twice in the Derbyshire Open exhibition. From her studio in the Peak District National Park, Jill uses her immediate environment as the inspiration for her designs. She builds up the final image in layers using the reduction method, where the lino block is cut away after each layer has been printed. Editions are limited to between 10 and 20 original prints.
