Nearly all of Andy's work is made on the wheel, including his smoke fired ceramics which increaslingly fascinate him. His work is often inspired by nature in terms of form and decoration. Each smoke fired pot is unique; they are fired in metal containers using as fuels, garden prunings, newspapers and sawdust etc. Andy also designs and makes a range of decorativeand functional stoneware pottery. Andy exhibits permanently at The Gallery in the Gardens, Pavilion Gardens, Buxton. Open daily 9.30-5pm.
