Narrative artist, Sarah Sharpe works in traditional materials including etching and watercolour. Her exploration of both the collective unconscious through fairytale, myth and symbol and the conscious natural world, such as the woods enables her to explore the human condition and what makes us who we are. Her work is often small and highly detailed as she wants to draw people into looking at the smallest of things, the almost hidden, striving to make something more tangible through image.
