Talks and Demonstrations
A free programme of talks and practical demonstrations by PDP members will be taking place throughout the weekend. This is an exciting opportunity for visitors to watch professional artists and designers at work, gain insight into the methods and ideas behind their work and ask questions.

Saturday 24th July
10.00: Verina Warren Talk- 45 mins
Textile artist Verina Warren will give illustrated talk on new work - exploring inspiration and techniques.
10.30 David Golubows Demonstration - 45 mins

An opportunity to handle clay whilst listening to Sue’s talk about her artistic journey and how play can enhance creativity!
15.00 Brett Payne Talk - 45 mins
Brett makes extraordinary Candlesticks by hot forging Sterling Silver. All his work is hand made in his workshop in Sheffield’

10.30 Kim-Lisa Clack Demonstration - 45 mins
Kim will be demonstrating her new range 'No Strings' using heat shrink plastic tubing and glass nuggets and balls.
11.00 Alison Counsell Talk - 45 mins
'Mapping the Landscape' Alison Counsell from Wapentac will be talking about the development of the Wapenmap.
11.30 Mark Langley Demo - 45 mins
Demonstrating some of the more complex and fine drawing techniques involved in colour pencil work.
